Aroma was weak, could pick up the malts but not much else. The normal spices in an October were missing, could taste the caramel malts but was missing something. not a bad beer just not much of an october. " NYHarvey (2154), New York, New York, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/20 | Jan 16, 2006 Aroma smelled starchy and corny. Color is rich copper with quickly fading thumb thick white head. Flavor is very still sweet malts like it is way undercarbonated. Some more honey sweetness. Never gets going anywhere. jehoey (766), Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, USA

Tastes dryer and less sweet than many of the Octoberfests I’ve tried but I found it very enjoyable. Nice color, good head and no bad aftertaste. I’d be glad to buy it again. tiggmtl (4311), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
| 0.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/20 | Dec 12, 2005 Aroma and flavour are laced with strong diacetyl and a corn-like undertone with perhaps just a touch of caramel. Clear copper body is topped by a low white fully diminishing head. Flat texture with zero carbonation and watery body. A major disappointment. Bottle (Liquor Mart, Sep-05) sampled at the hotel room tasting while packing to return from GABF with Olivier_MTL and Rastacouere. CaptainCougar (5521), Rockville, Maryland, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 22, 2005 Pours a clear copper orange with a thin ring of off-white head. Light candied caramel malty aroma has a mild noble hoppy balance. Body starts with a malty, earthy sweetness with some caramelized sugar and a touch of golden raisins before a slightly drier blander finish. Fairly authentic tasting. An average, but drinkable Oktoberfest. pjk33 (384), Sligo - Curllsville Heights, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 2, 2005 Bottle. Pours with no head and a very light amber. Nose of caramel and toffee, no hops. Taste is same as aroma with a close of a little sweet maltiness. Light body and decent carbonation. Not bad.
