Fresh and tasted that way! brilliant copper with tan head leaving nice lacing A very nice oktoberfest beer, malt-dominated with toasted malt character, medium bodied and a fairly soft palate. Slight bitterness, and a very full aroma that left me with some kind of berry towards the bottom of the glass. shadey (1500), Rochester, New York, USA

If you want an octoberfest that is going to stand out in the crowd, you need to do more than this. Dissapointing for Stoudts. gsmitty80 (642), Washington DC, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 16, 2005 (Bottle 35,5 cl) Apparently Stoudt’s is the first Pennsylvanian micro brewery offering us beer, food, wine and....antiques...! Dark amber, slightly hazy. Extremely nice, nutty character. Low on carbonation, high on personality. Quite obviously from a small brewery the puts good quality up front. Though it’s supposed to be German in style I mostly get the impression of something British. bmanLS (114), Gibsonia, Pennsylvania, USA

I enjoyed this one very much. has2be (6), Pennsylvania, USA does not count | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 2, 2005 poured redish brown with very thin head. It was a little thin and nothing really stood out a far as the taste. It was good but not great Jine (896), Nutley, New Jersey, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Nov 29, 2004 Bottle. I was confused for a while between this and the straight Fest. I enjoyed this though, not the best oktober out there but good enough for me. Stoudt’s brings it once again Earlier Rating: 10/9/2004 Total Score: 3.1 Bottle. Smells oktoberfest-y I suppose...but the taste is off. Actually I’m not sure what the taste is honestly. It is rather thin...the malt is off a little....strange
