I enjoyed this though, not the best oktober out there but good enough for me. Stoudt’s brings it once again Earlier Rating: 10/9/2004 Total Score: 3.1 Bottle. Smells oktoberfest-y I suppose...but the taste is off. Actually I’m not sure what the taste is honestly. It is rather thin...the malt is off a little....strange Kinz (2215), Glen Allen, Virginia, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Nov 24, 2004 Clear copper, fading head. Aroma of wet bread with some hop notes. Some bready malts give way to that slightly watery hop finish that I just don’t care for that is in so many Oktoberfest beers. Almost went into that vegetal area I hate, but not quite. I think I’m pickier about this style than almost any other. richlikebeer (832), Easton, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 14, 2004 Not much aroma, but a beautiful coppery color and a light white head. Great taste...a cross of hops and spices with a hint of fruit that I couldn’t put my finger on. Overall, the only fest bier that I would take before this of the ones’ I’ve had would be Victory, and maybe Spaten. invalid (302), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 11, 2004 Pours a deep copper, small head. Smells of sweet malt, slight toffee. Tastes smooth, but like the Gold Lager, I’m not too impressed with the malt flavor in the finish. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Nov 9, 2004 On draft at Stoudt’s. Copper colored, with aroma of malt, toffee, dark fruit, cognac. Like all Stoudt’s beers, this one is smooth, complex, and well balanced. Earlier Rating: 4/5/2004 Total Score: 4 750 ml. bottle. This pours dark amber with a nice head. Very malty with a nice hop undertone. Hints of caramel, toffee, and malt at the finish. An award winning beer (literally and figuratively). Eyedrinkale (3209), Astoria, New York, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 23, 2004 On tap at the Lehigh Valley Brew Fest ’04. Poured a medium orange color with a small off white head. Like the majority of Oktoberfests I’ve had, aromas and tastes of caramel and toffee. Light spices. Earlier Rating: 8/22/2004 Total Score: 3 Poured a hazy amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Malty, caramel smells and tastes with some bready touches on the on tongue. Watery and thin palate. jeffin7 (610), Silver Spring, Maryland, USA
