Bottle Pours a good clear amber with a bubbly off white head. The head lasts well and laces nicely. Has a good aroma of sweet malts, some biscuits very seasonal. Has a light carbonation. The flavor is good. Hearty with a thickness about it. Has a thick texture with a light to medium body. The finish is real good with a good aftertaste. This is a good drinking beer.

12oz bottle. Pours like an oktoberfest with a smeller head, glowing orange caramel color with a smaller fizzy white sudsy head. Aroma is light and biscuity, some munich sweetness but not much, macro-ish, vague. Flavor follows, vague and boring, very faintly sweet, watery, hint of pretzel dough even with a touch of salt, metallic finish, very macro. Palate is super thin, diet-soda like, smoother but super vague. Boring and not much of an oktoberfest at all, oktoberfest ultra-light.

This was boring and unmemorable, as i Often find most Oktoberfests. I honestly can’t remember anything to say about this, except taht I was able to drink this without thinking it was terrible. Middle of the road.

Poured a slightly hazy amber color with a small disapating head. Looked like a solid Oktoberfest, but that’s where the comparisons end. Aroma was much hoppier and had a whiff of wheat, which was unexpected. Flavor was also weak on the malty sweetness typical of the style. Didn’t have a clean palate and left me with a weird aftertaste. Overall, not pleasant.

bottle BB 12/05/08 via machfive55... a brilliant clear copper pour with a soft foamy white head and a few rings of lace left behind. smells like a rather average maerzen... caramel-y and malty with pumpkin pie spice and a faint earthy hoppiness. the flavor is pretty much the same plus some woodiness and a very mild bitterness on the finish which lingers into the aftertaste. bland...it tastes a little like it’s been watered down?... medium body also feels like it’s on the watery side. 5/3/5/2.5/13/2.9

I was not too impressed with this beer. I liked the effort and it was not nasty at all. I guess I went into it with high expectations.
