Nov 28, 2008 A nice Oktoberfest! You can taste the hops but they are not overpowering. It is a drinkable beer which dgoes down nice and easy.

<b>9/26/2007</b>: Stoudt’s Oktoberfest has a malty aroma and flavor. It is somewhat funky in the mid-palate. This particular Oktoberfest beer is hoppy and seems to have more bitterness than traditional. Its appearance is a clear golden color with a foamy off-white head. There is light lacing left on the glass from the head. It also has a medium-light body and a grainy texture. Overall this beer is not that great.

Oct 27, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours a clear brown body with small head. The aroma is slight hop. The taste is a a little bitter, but good.

Oct 27, 2008 Bottle. Light nutty smell for the malts, light herbs for the hops and a touch of brown sugar in the background. Head is frothy white with fair lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is light brown. Flavor is lightly sweet and acidic to start, and moderately bitter in the finish. Palate is light to medium, watery and has a lively carbonation. Nothing bad, but not much to this Oktoberfest. Seems like something was left out of the brewing process.

Appearance: clear amber brew with good looking, thick white top, good lacing is shown. Classic appearance. 4+
Nose: Medium bold hop aroma , sweeter base. Crisp.
Flavor/Palate : Medium full bodied. Dry , crisp hop character with heavier feel. Mineral lighter feel noted in aftertaste. Refreshing, hoppy brew. Very direct if not bold. Solid brew of Stoudts.

Oct 16, 2008 The clear, deep amber body is crowned with a small, foamy, off-white head that settles to a thin film. Sticky, patchy ribbons of lace circle the glass. Aromas include light caramel, toasty bread, hints of butter, and subtly spicy, floral hops. The flavor follows suit, lightly sweet from the caramel, but toasty and hoppy enough to balance things out. There’s alot of biscuit showing through. Medium-light bodied and balanced on the palate, it drinks easy enough for a nice session, but still maintains some substance. Nice little brew. Not bad at all for the style.

Oct 13, 2008 Draft. Poured clear copper in color with a small white head. Aroma of light grains and lightly toasted bread. Flavors of bread, toast, light caramel, and some mild spices in the finish. Nice body and dry finish. The best of the Oktoberfest beers at the Lancaster Brews and band event.

Oct 9, 2008 Bottle, #407 Light pour with nice head. Light malty aroma and flavor. Really not much to it, but decent oktoberfest.
