Oct 8, 2008 Draft @ Standard Tap: Poured an orange amber with a bit of white head. The aroma was a sweet grain with a hint of hops. The flavor was slightly malty, slightly hoppy, and somewhat sweet and toasty. Overall, very drinkable.

Oct 6, 2008 Off taps Capital Ale House. Malt with peppery hop nose. Golden orange, clear with frothy white head. Light maltyness with some graininess. Light body with creamy mouthfeel. Nice dry spicy finish. Little light on the malts and body for the style, but a nice pleasant drinking beer.

Flavor of bread, caramel, and toasted grains countered by a moderate spicy bitterness. Clean finish. Nothing special, but very drinkable.

Sep 23, 2008 A medium amber color with a moderate white head. Not much aroma other than a little malt. A lot lighter than I thought it would be. Finish was a little hoppy with a touch of malt. A decent beer.
