The aroma is quite light with notes of caramel - too light for my liking. The flavor is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel, leading to a dry and slightly bitter end. Dark amber, slightly hazy. Extremely nice, nutty character. Low on carbonation, high on personality. Quite obviously from a small brewery the puts good quality up front. Though it’s supposed to be German in style I mostly get the impression of something British. omhper (12299), Stockholm, Sweden

Poured a medium orange color with a small off white head. Like the majority of Oktoberfests I’ve had, aromas and tastes of caramel and toffee. Light spices. Earlier Rating: 8/22/2004 Total Score: 3 Poured a hazy amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Malty, caramel smells and tastes with some bready touches on the on tongue. Watery and thin palate. jcwattsrugger (5581), Florida and, New Jersey, USA
