A slightly hazy caramel colored beer with an off-white head. The aroma is quite light with notes of caramel - too light for my liking. The flavor is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel, leading to a dry and slightly bitter end.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Apparently Stoudt’s is the first Pennsylvanian micro brewery offering us beer, food, wine and....antiques...! Dark amber, slightly hazy. Extremely nice, nutty character. Low on carbonation, high on personality. Quite obviously from a small brewery the puts good quality up front. Though it’s supposed to be German in style I mostly get the impression of something British.

Light golden-amber colour. Fresh breadcrust, lightly toasted aroma with herbal German hops. Very toasty with light caramel and earth. Medium bitterness and a fairly dry finish.

Very faint aroma, lightly caramel. The flavor has caramel malt up front followed by decent bitterness. This beer has a nice body.

Clear, light copper color. Bit of caramel malts, not very bitter, though a bit comes through at the end. Not much to it.

On tap at the Lehigh Valley Brew Fest ’04. Poured a medium orange color with a small off white head. Like the majority of Oktoberfests I’ve had, aromas and tastes of caramel and toffee. Light spices.

Poured a hazy amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Malty, caramel smells and tastes with some bready touches on the on tongue. Watery and thin palate.

12oz bottle-pours a fizzy foamy offwhite head with gold/amber color. Aroma is floral/herbal, husky medium malt-some caramel. Taste is earthy/herbal/spice hops, husky medium malt-some caramel. Thanks Jwc215 for picking this out.
