Dry, herbal and haylike on the palate. Very lean, not much malt. Good bitterness. Nicely done, solid north German stylings. daknole (3000), Scottsdale, Arizona, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 13, 2008 bottle poured into a snifter has a light yellow golden color, hefty visible carbonation, and a one finger white foamy head. aroma has pilsner malt, corn sweetness, hefty hops for the style, and some grass. mouth feel is light with heavy carbonation. flavor has a nice combination of pilsner malt and hops, bitterness at the sides of the tongue, bites down nice with grains and grass. finish has a battle of sweetness that dries out and leaves a bitterness that lingers for a minute. very well done for the style and has enough hop interest while remaining a pilsner. jhumphries69 (730), Tyrone, Georgia, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 11, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours a light bright yellow with highlights of deeper gold and a thin, small-bubbled white head. The aroma is sweet with pilsner malt, light notes of honey and sweet corn, with a subtle hop aroma. The flavor is bready with a subtle sweetness and a firm bitterness. The finish is dry with a firm hop bitterness. The mouthfeel is tingly with a medium level of carbonation and has a medium-light body. Overall, a very decent German Pils with a strong clean pilsner malt character and a hop bitterness that manages to be firm while remaining shy of harsh. gsmitty80 (646), Washington DC, USA
