Aroma of light pale German malts and crisp, floral noble hops. Body starts lightly sweet and grainy malty with good fullness for the style and a nice, refreshing balance of authentic bittering and flavor hops. Finishes drier, smooth and bittersweet. A very nice pilsener and session beer. edden (927), cow- lumbus, Ohio, USA

| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jul 1, 2008 Draft at the brewery...pours a light clear yellow, sudsy white head…not much aroma, kind of grassy…taste was kind of the same, grassy, grainy, some hops…soapy mouth feel…crisp and kind of thirst quenching, but did nothing for me. Either I was expecting too much or I need to sample more pils. Cletus (5058), Connecticut, USA

Malty notes and light bodied. After it settles, the slightest citrus notes emerge as well as grass and maybe a hint of pear and bread. I generally dig ales/hoppy brews, but this isn’t bad. Finishes very smooth. thornecb (1810), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA
