| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 17, 2008 (Bottle (best by 4/7/08) from <A HREF=http://www.ratebeer.com/Place/massachusetts/w target=blank>Julio’s Liquors) Pours clear pale yellow with a tall somewhat frothy white head that settles to a meringue-like rocky cap. Aroma shows a little bit of honey and some pine. Mouthfeel is smooth and lightly dryish toward finish. Lots of droopy patches and specks of lacing. Flavor is lightly honeyish malt sweetness with a pronounced light-medium piney bitterness that gives some bite and leaves a bit of a lingering bitter aftertaste. Tasty enough as it is and bet it would be really nice on tap with some yeasty freshness. Johnroy (32), USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 15, 2008 Pours straw color followed with the nice fresh smell of straw. Fluffy white head quicky evaporates leaving a nice lace on the glass. Solid taste from start to finish, the way a pilsner should be! BeerandBlues2 (3230), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA
