Commercial Description:
The driest and most delicate of our lagers. Stoudt’s Pils is characteristic of the traditional European Pilseners. Straw-yellow and assertively hopped with Saaz hops, this frequent medal winner has a refreshing bitterness and refined hop aroma.

355 ml. Clear pale golden with a medium and lasting head. Aroma of sweet n’ spicy lemon grass. Initial honey flavor is balanced quickly by some bitter herb and lemon that end this beer crisply yet with a delicate touch. Palate is light-bodied and kind of airy.

Pours a vivid pale golden color with a moderate, pure white head. Perfectly clear, effervescent, with lots of carbonation. Very little aroma. Almost no malt flavor, with a dry, slightly bitter hop finish. Was an almost perfect match with the cold chicken sandwich I was eating at the time. I am not a big fan of pilseners, but this is an enjoyable beer.

Pretty good pale malt aroma. The smell is rather weak, but still very good when my nose picks it up. The hops don’t really come out in the aroma as much as I would like them to. I mean if you have pictures of hops on the bottle they better play a major role in this beer. Very gold in color, so I guess what I am trying to say is that this beer looks average. Decent hop and malt balance. The beer is somewhat smooth. There is a great balance, but both flavors are rather weak. I taste the hops, and I think that the bittering hop is okay, but I would like this beer to have a stronger taste. The flavor is balanced but it needs to be more intense. I taste more hops than I do malt. To me a great pils should have a good balance. The Pilsner Urquell had this. Decent palate, okay flavor, and weak smell. A brew that is worth trying, but there are better pilsners out there.

12 oz. bottle via trade with jasonmech77 - Pours a hazy light golden color with a half finger thick white head. Faint lacing. Lively carbonation. Aroma is spicey, herbal hops. Nice! Flavor is light citrus and herbal hops. Light to medium body. This beer went down well after working in the yard most of the day. Thanks Jason.

Bottle. Citrus aroma. Nice yellow color with a white head that lasts a little while. The more of the beer I drink, the more I taste grapefruit, but not in a terribly bitter way. The mouthfeel is light, and the aftertaste if mildly bitter. A very enjoyable beer.

Bottle. Light malt notes of grain or straw, light hops of herbs and grass with no noticable yeast smell. In the background there’s a faint aroma of some kind of fruit like apple or a white wine. Head is large and rocky, white as snow, has excellent lacing and is fully lasting. Body is sparkling yet slightly hazy and golden. Flavor is light all around but finishes moderately bitter. Palate is light to medium, watery and slightly creamy with a lively carbonation. It finishes slightly dry with a hint of alcohol. The crispness is the best part of this beer, I could drink mass quantities of these.
