Bright golden pils with neat bright white head. 3+
Refreshing hoppy nose, hay like grassy Sazz . Clean , crisp , fresh.
Soft bodied , clean smooth malt work. Quiet gentle this Pils is . Sweet but not to much to overshadow its light hoppy character. Reminded me of Wurzburger Pils I had some time ago. Good classic work from Stoudts. Must try.

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 7, 2007 Appearance: Pours out a bright straw-colored yellow that’s just a touch hazy. The frothy white head formed atop the beer like heavily whipped egg whites.
Smell: The lemony, floral hop aroma is a knockout. A bit of graininess in the nose as well.
Taste: Oo! An abrupt, snap of puckering lemon greets the tongue. Grainy, with some lightly sweet malts in the mix. Finish is customarily dry with a lingering spiciness. All the flavors mesh well.
Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Clean and Crisp. The two c’s that please.
Drinkability: Yes, I enjoyed it. At work, even! A tasty pilsner from Stoudt’s. Poperinge (359), Cowtown, Alberta, Canada

The flavour is thin with almost diacetly finish but gets crisper as you get into it. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 31, 2007 Clear straw-color body with a medium white head. Really nice pils with the balance slightly leaning towards the hops. The hay and honey sweetness flavours are cut short by the more-than-generous amount of tasty dry herbal hops. Long finish. The body is soft and round and the carbonation is perfectly moderate. May not be the crispest pils around but I found it to be an above average classic pils. I find that the rather low average rating of this beer is as hard to justify and explain as G.W.Bush re-election. JoeAgain (32), New Jersey, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | May 25, 2007 This rating is based on a fresh one poured from the tap at Ed and Carol’s (Stoudt’s) brewpub. In bottle, it was not quite as good.
Beautiful, creamy head that lasts down to the bottom of the glass. Nice noble hop aroma, ever so slightly citrusy. Excellent malt/grain flavor. Hops and malt beautifully balanced. Relatively dry beer ElJefe (553), Rochester, New York, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 20, 2007 Pale yellow with a soapy, bright white head. Aroma of floral and herbal hops and lemon. Light toasted flavor, followed by a rush of floral, zesty Saaz hops. Just a bit of sweetness to balance things out, but a pretty dry finish nonetheless. Palidor19 (1798), Brandon, Florida, USA
