Flavor is mostly floral hops with a decent sweet/tangy malt balance. Not a bad pilsener. FROTHINGSLOSH (2038), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA

The aroma was a robust mix of tangy and sweet malts and light fruity hops. The flavor was tangy, sweet, malty, bready, lightly fruity and quite full. jonwayne4883 (401), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Mar 28, 2007 12oz bottle - pours with a thick white head that lasts. Clear light golden color. Faint, citrusy nose. Very crisp and thist-quenching, goes down very well. Nice finish. Does not have that great Saaz zip that I like so much in a North German Pils, but this is a very good, almost great beer. StompBrockmore (300), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Mar 24, 2007 12oz. bottle - pours very pale, crystal clear golden yellow. Vibrant white head on top. Huuuuge Saaz hop aroma, delicate malt background. Flavour is equally hoppy, with a dry and long bitter finish, but with enough of a sweet malt presence in the middle to keep this in Pils territory. Nice grassy/earthy notes off the top. Beautiful, refreshing stuff - extremely drinkable. A very assertive and satisfying example of the style. Easily the most hop forward lager/pilsener I’ve encountered. iowaherkeye (1876), Los Angeles, California, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 18, 2007 12oz, no date from Hollingshead Deli. Pours a crystal clear bright pale golden with a 1/2 finger fading white head. Floral grassy hop aroma with some grain and biscuits. I think I also got a bit of almonds. Flavor has a fair amount of grassy florally bitterness with some sweet biscuity malts balancing it out. There is a bit of almond sweetness as well, but in the semidry finish the hops bring forth a slight bitterness again. Lively moderate carbonation on the tongue with a light to medium body. Good rendition of a pilsener. johnykat (65), Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Mar 17, 2007 I’ve been tryin a few plseners lately, but this is not one I will try agian. Tastes of sour flowers, wood, musk, mixed in with what you would describe as the classic Pilsener taste. Very dissapointing.
