Commercial Description:
The driest and most delicate of our lagers. Stoudt’s Pils is characteristic of the traditional European Pilseners. Straw-yellow and assertively hopped with Saaz hops, this frequent medal winner has a refreshing bitterness and refined hop aroma.

Bottle via trade with The_Epeeist, thanks! Pours golden with a decent sized pillowy white head. Aroma is pale malts, toast, slight floral hops. Flavor is about the same. Palate is light bodied, crisp, refreshing, bitter and dry finish. Decent.

Jacksonville, Fl. - Total Wine - 12 oz bottle. Medium golden pour, tight white head. Fresh lake water aroma, some grains. Crisp, refreshing flavor, some grassy notes and a hint of bittering citrus in the back end. Very dry mouthfeel. Overall decent, and thirst quenching.

Draft. I thought this would be a good experience but it was not. Nose of smelly adjuncts, diacetyl butter notes, light corn and grains, the hops were invisible in this one, not noticed at all. Silky, oily palate, tasted and looked cheap. Really a disappointment.

’Tis has a cloudy sort of pale. There is not too much on the head (or maybe I just didn’t pour it right). The body was indeed quite light but the taste was at the same time quite full of delicous hops and a nice bitter touch to it lasting to the finish.

Light clear pour of deep yellow. Hoppy nowhere to hide from the hops, smooth with a zippy kicking after taste that lingers. Honey sweetness.

Bottle, pours clear light lemon gold, a few bubbles, grassy fragrances with hops and malt, some sweet fragrances, faint citrus in the nose, crisp pilsner malt taste with hop bitterness, some citrus in the mouth, dry finish, light on the palate, nice beer.

Light color with foamy head. Grainy aroma with hops detectable. Taste is a bit dry, but crispy with some nice hop bitterness. True to style - not quite as good as some of my favorite pils (namely from Victory) but quite refreshing!

One of the better pilseners i’ve had. Better than I anticipated also. I really enjoyed the citrusy malts in this beer. Ends with a little but of a kick of hops. Not bad.
