Commercial Description:
The driest and most delicate of our lagers. Stoudt’s Pils is characteristic of the traditional European Pilseners. Straw-yellow and assertively hopped with Saaz hops, this frequent medal winner has a refreshing bitterness and refined hop aroma.

Bottle, poured a clear hay color with a thick white head. Nice noble hop aroma, quite delicate. Crsip dry flavor with a clean bitterness and bite. Very refreshing, medium mouthfeel and a dry finish. Nice pils.

A yellow beer with a thick white head. The aroma is sweet malty with hints of caramel. The flavor is nice with a good mix of malt and hops - my guess is Saaz, giving it light citurs notes, and a dry bitter end.

12 oz.bottle. Clear gold with a durable white head and nice lace. Grassy, grainy, and floral aromas. Medium body, ively effervescence. Bitter throughout, little malt character, and a clean bitter finish.

Strong grain aroma--earthy as well. The pour is a clear golden yellow with a pillowy white head. The palate was nice and full. Strong grain flavor with tastes of bitter hops and earth. Not my favorite pils for sure.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a nice golden color with a bit of haziness and a nice white head. Nice hoppy aroma. Seems a bit heavy for a pilsner, but a good beer nonetheless.

Bottle from Santa. Golden colored with just a hint of haze to it. Long lived white head leaves great lacing behind. Aroma is quite hoppy, full of herbal and floral notes. Light bodied, just a hair too thin and not quite drying enough to really get me terribly excited. All in all this is a great pilsner, with a little tweaking it would be world class in my book.
