Flavor is sweet, bready, slight bitterness in the finish as the grassy hops make their apperance. Good body, forgetable, yet drinkable brew. Snojerk321 (2027), San Diego, California, USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 7, 2006 I really was suprised at how well this beer is made. I’m RARELY impressed by anything lagered as it just usually don’t do much for me, but on the odd chance one is really top-notch, then I tend to remember. This is one of those times. A beautiful crystal-clear straw yellow in hue with nice carbonation and a fluffy white head with decent lacing. The aroma was a pleasant grassyness hoppy aroma, but not overpowering. Just enough to let you know this is a pils of a different sort. Mouthfeel was lively, crisp and refreshing. Flavors were also crisp, toasted cracker, grassy and hoppy all rolled into one. This would be probably one of me continuous stocked beer, if only I had access to it. JoeMcPhee (5048), Jackson Heights, New York, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Apr 6, 2006 12 oz bottle. Very pale golden beer with thick white head. Actually has a nice malt profile, fresh bread and hay. Notes of lemon zest as well. Flavour is a bit worty and sweet. A bit of hop flavour but doesn’t push any boundaries either. As it warms some more noble spicy hoppiness comes out, but so does some fat DMS greasiness. Drinkable, but not much more.
