Commercial Description:
The driest and most delicate of our lagers. Stoudt’s Pils is characteristic of the traditional European Pilseners. Straw-yellow and assertively hopped with Saaz hops, this frequent medal winner has a refreshing bitterness and refined hop aroma.

Pours gold with a cleanly articulated white head. Aroma of grass and crackers. Flavor is surprisingly mellow, and palate is subdued rather than pilsner-like crisp. Overall feel of the beer suggests sweet mild fruit. This beer works as a drink but is stylistically suspect for me.

Golden straw color with a thick white head. Peppery and grassy aroma. Flavor is mildly bitter with some hop presence and maybe a touch of citrus to go with some spicy hops. Decent pils.

another one from machfive55... pours perfectly into a pils glass a typical straw yellowish with a wispy soap-like white head. the aroma is heavy on the pils malt/grain with notes of cinnamon, straw, lemon and dryness (if dryness has a smell!). it’s nice and dry on the palate with flavors of lots of straw, earthy hops, pale malt, something softly fruity and a mild lemony-like sourness. the body is medium. carbonation is soft on the front palate but something happens to it as it develops on the tongue...there’s no crispness. it just falls off, flat and dead... not a good quality in what is supposed to be a refreshing beer. 6/3/6/2/15/3.2

Bottle. Pretty enough pour for a pilsner... clear gold, lively carbonation, big and fluffy white head. Aromas are a decent mix of grass, honey, bread and maybe a little bit of pepper. There are no big surprises in the flavor here. The stuff you smell is the stuff you taste. The only complaint that I would raise is that the sweet honey flavor seems to dominate a bit too much in the middle to late development across the palate. It doesn’t take over right away, but when it gets there it seems a little out of place and makes the beer come across as not quite crisp or refreshing enough.

Meh. A very clean pour from a bottle with very little head. Nearly crystal clear with a yellow complexion. Much too sweet and not nearly enough hops for a pilsner. I expected more bite. It did drink very easily and I can tell it’s well made. However, it was to generic and macrobrew-like for me. i wouldn’t buy again.

Very pale clear gold pour with decent pillowy white head if poured right. Straw and grain and Saaz hops. Mild sweet malt. Not as crisp as I was hoping for.
