Commercial Description:
The driest and most delicate of our lagers. Stoudt’s Pils is characteristic of the traditional European Pilseners. Straw-yellow and assertively hopped with Saaz hops, this frequent medal winner has a refreshing bitterness and refined hop aroma.

Poured a clear light yellow with a foamy white head that left decent lacing. Plenty of carbonation bubbles rising in the glass. There was a light citrus/hop aroma. There was a nice hop bite initially and a good bitterness on the finish. There was a bit of a lemon flavor detected. Good refreshing beer

What a Pils should be. Very nice floral aroma and a nice old style beer taste. Nice dry finish. Perfect for the beach.

Pours golden yellow with a oily white head. Aroma is earthy- very hoppy with grass and cereal in the aroma. Flavor is malty with some vinegar and enough hops. The finish is slightly bitter with some lingering sourness. Respectable beer.

bottle - Pours hazy yellow with a one finger white, lingering head. It smells of bready malt and grassy hop notes. It’s a light, pleasantly hopped brew that very sessionable. It leaves a mild bitterness on the palate.

Pretty 12 oz pour;carbonation runs nicely up the side of the glass for several minutes after pour. Unpleasant aroma; taste is bitter, grassy, hoppy, but not all that complex. Overrated ? Probably.

From a 12oz Bottle. Courtesy of CharlesDarwin. Mostly hazy, pale yellow colored body with a tall head of foamy white. Clean, bready malt aroma with a pleasant herbal hop note. Medium-light bodied, crisply carbonated mouthfeel with a soft texture. Flavors of bready malt up front, followed by a moderate hop bitterness that lingers into the finish. Herbal hop flavors, including an almost citrus rind-like bitterness linger in the final smack. Surprisingly hazy, but an otherwise excellent example of the style. Thanks, Tom!

12 ozer poured into a pilsener glass. Poured a bright yellow color with a huge bubbly head. Aroma was of grass and bread with a little floral hop hint. Flavor was dry and grassy. Light-medium body with excellent carbonation.
