Commercial Description:
The driest and most delicate of our lagers. Stoudt’s Pils is characteristic of the traditional European Pilseners. Straw-yellow and assertively hopped with Saaz hops, this frequent medal winner has a refreshing bitterness and refined hop aroma.

Now this is a beer I can enjoy. It tastes like a real beer. Lots of bitterness and a great nose. Very nice. A real man’s beer!

Light yet extremely satisfying. Some bitter/floral hops, slightly malty with a vague breadiness; I bought it at the brewery, so it had to be fresh. This must be what Pilsner Urquell is like in Plzen; I have to think of Josef Svejk when I drink this. I agree with "Trappist Ales Rule," this is damn near perfection.

Stoudt’s Pils pour to a beautiful, bright, light blonde color with a thick, creamy white head, and a lively carbonation. The nose on this beer is superb. Very fragrant, grassy/herby hop aromas flood the nose. This beer is hopped with Saaz hops in abundance, and the vibrant hop flavors and aroma dazzle. The palate is crisp and clean, with a wonderful flavor of lightly kilned pilsner malt. The body is smooth and round, making this beer very drinkable. This beer finishes with a very aggressive grassy hop bite that lingers on the tongue, letting you know you just had one fantastic beer.

Bright golden color- light head, but good lacing. Medium carbonation. Slight, clean aroma, mostly of Saaz hops. Flavor is clean, malty sweet. Light yet pronounced flavor. Outstanding pils.

What a great beer. Very refreshing. Crisp. Clear yellow in color. White foamy head. Light malt aroma and a long lasting bitter hop finish.

Big 25 oz bottle: Great appearance- light yellow with a substantial head and great carbonation. Aroma is spicy herbal grassy and slightly earthy. Flavors are hoppy backed up with some soft smooth ligth malts. I really like prima pils better, but I think stoudts pils is more to style and is almost as enjoyable. This one is highly under-rated. Go to the brewery and pick up a couple of the big bottle conditioned pils’s if you are in the area.

Pours gold with a nice white head. Smells of sage, some pepper, crisp malt. Tastes of crisp dry malt accompanied by a hint of peppery bitterness and some citrussy splashes on the finish. This is an excellent beer for the summer!
