Bottle at Mondial 2007.
Clear amber with decent creamy tanned head.
Fresh, clean malts well composed together with earthy, slightly raw hoppy character.
Medium bodied, slightly oily malts, soft, sticky palate. Bitters are gentle yet they do good work balancing this solid session ale. Recommended.

Not a very bitter ESB at all. Light, amber color was appealing, though after the first half of the bottle, the taste became rather bland

really not a lot going on here. a bit sweet and mildly bitter finish. a bit malty and mildly flavored with caramel and a wood flowery type essence. decent mouthfeel -not a bad beer- not a good beer. balanced to the point of bland. eehhh!

Draft. Pours a deep reddish amber with a flufffy beighe head. The aroma is a nice balance of a crisp yet well balanced maltinness. The flavor delivers the gooods with plenty of hop yet the full rich maltiness satisfies the sweetness need. Very good ESB.

Bottle poured out red (like the name suggests) with a finger thick white head that quickly diminishes. Aroma is light but a bit malty and sweet. Taste is heavy malts that are creamy and toasted but leave you with a touch of sweetness before the subtle hop flavor comes in. The hops are not really for flavor as malts are the predominate flavor I am picking up but more for that nice bittering finish the beer leaves you with. Not a bad lil’ brew.

12 oz. bottle at Zeno’s, Penn State. Poured clear, beautiful amber with thin off-white head. Surprisingly hoppy finish. A nice offering from Stoudts.
