Bottle. Pours clear orange red, off white head. Aroma is malt, hops, caramel. Flavor is caramel, malt, hops, bitter. On the sweeter side.

Pours a red, coppery brown with a medium head that leaves a pretty constant thin head. Has almost no scent, kind of disappointing. Slightly bitter, fairly malty. Nice mouthfeel, thick with light carbonation. Not a typical ESB, not a bad brew, very tasty. Good, but there are better brews from Stoudts

Copper pour, alot of maltiness to this one, sticky sweet on the lips. Some hops on the aftertaste, ok brew, not great though.

Pours a reddish-copper with a medium foamy, off-white head. Sweet floral aroma, citrusy. Taste is a little watery at the begining, followed with a mellow bitterness, some hops, with a hint of grapefruit, and a light corn syrup. Finishes clean. Very light bodied. Not what I expected for an ESB.

sampled at Andy’s Corner Bar on tap. Poured a deep amber with a medium off white head. Aroma is malty with some floral hops. Taste is sweet malt with some bittering hops up front and a small amount of hops in the finish. well balanced.

This is a pretty good ESB. I have no real complaints other than I feel most classic ESB’s should have a little more hop flavor. Not really a requirement for the style, but I think it tastes better.

Malt aroma. Some bite. Major fault in the metallic finish. Bad bottle? Not seeing this complaint in others’ ratings.

Not my favorite ESB. Aroma is a little lager-like, vegetably, though also minty and earthy/mushrooms. Appearance is a typical cloudy copper with a small white head. Taste is minty and floral, with mushrooms and licorice. It is a little harsh in the mouth for the style.
