jrmac (125), USA Jun 15, 2008 Pours a hazy gold with a decent white foam. Smells like a triple. Notes of hops, fruit, and alcohol. Taste sweet at first with a good finish with just the right hint of bitterness. High at 9%, but it is hidden.
Geth_in_beer (667), Nova Scotia, Canada Aug 23, 2008 Bottle. Bitter, fresh spicy aroma. amber looking beer, very thin lace. fruity, hit with spice. Strong alcohol hit also. syrupy texture with a spicy finish. Little yeasty. Yeah. Not bad. Not my favourite style, but I’ve had better I feel. BeerGestapo (311), Windsor, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 21, 2008 (USA) Courtesy of AFI96, thanks Waylo !!! Pours a nice golden color with sm-white head. The aroma was hard to smell at first, but once it warmed up a bit it had some sweet candy notes. The taste was of spices and sugar !! Overall, it was a pretty good triple, and the 9% well hidden very well. afireinside96 (410), Mountville, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 20, 2008 Golden color liquid with a small but lasting white head. Smells of light spice, orange, candy. Tastes the same but with spice being more prominent. A bit too sweet, almost cloying. Still a very good beer. GMUcrew7 (178), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Aug 15, 2008 Pours nice cloudy golden color with a small white head. Very fruity aroma, with hints of nutmeg, and cloves. Wide array of flavors, yeasty initially, followed by the spice and sweet fruit flavors and the alcohol is slightly noticeable at the finish. Full bodied with a dry finish. Not one of my favorite styles of beer, but this is a pretty good representation of the style. AndrewKScott (330), Lemont, Illinois, USA Aug 15, 2008 Pours orangish with lots of floaties, white head. Nice fruity aroma but average triple flavor, with banana and clove. The high alcohol is very well hidden. I like it.
