MoritzF (3690), Ruhrpott, Germany Nov 12, 2007 (bottle) Almost clear, pale golden colour with a mid-sized foamy white head. Slightly sweet and a bit papery malty nose with a medicinal and light flowery hoppy touch. Light-bitter flavour, slim bodied with a lively carbonation. Artificial malty taste with subtle fruity and light flowery notes; slim and slightly tart, shy but again medicinal hoppy finish. Not a great pleasure. pivnizub (3768), Porúří, Germany Oct 15, 2007 Bottle: Golden, smaller, quite stable head, malty and slightly medical hoppy nose with a touch of bandaid; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied, not watery, malty base detectable; medical traces or traces of bandaid in the bitter-sweet finish. A mild beer, drinkable, even though the "medical" taste doesn’t make it really attractive..... Quack-Duck (1698), Bodensee, Germany Jun 16, 2007 I came across this beer by accident, when I got lost in Strakonice trying to find the famous bagpipe festival and asked for directions at a petrol station. Mestanska Desítka (10°) pours pale yellow with a large white head. Malty and fruity, slightly hoppy especially towards the finish. Perhaps a bit thin, but this is a very pleasant desítka.
