Quack-Duck (1698), Bodensee, Germany Aug 10, 2008 bottle, bought at the brewery. Clear amber colour with a lovely red glow, medium-sized creamy beige head. Malty nose. Medium-bodied, pleasantly malty with a shy fruity touch and flavours of caramel and roasetd malt. Well-rounded by a good portion of Saaz hops, which results in a dry finish with some malty notes. DSG (835), Yuvalim, Israel Aug 9, 2008 (6/28/08) Draught at a blind tasting at Modrý Abbé in Klatovy. Clear amber color with an off-white, slightly creamy, head. Aroma of malt. light toasted malt and caramel notes. Sweetish caramelly flavor with hints of toasted bread and a drier finish with hints of metal. Medium-bodied. 5/4/6/3/11=2.9

A sweet and quite caramelly beer with some grainy malt. 5/4/5/2/11=2.7 pivnizub (3770), Porúří, Germany Aug 8, 2008 Draught (@ Modé Abbé, Klattau and Zlý Časy, Prag): Light amber coloured, firm, little off-white head; hops, pale malt and molecular traces of metal in the nose; light bodied, light to medium sweet-bitter flavour; bitterness and dark-malty sweetness in the finish. Good, not great Polotmavé pivo............. Theis (2018), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 7, 2008 Blind tasting nr. 8 - at Modrý Abbé. Clear nutbrown - offwhite head. Nice malty, metallic, blood, amber malts, berries, caramel, syrup, sweetness. A bit wierd.
