| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 6, 2006 On tap at the Alex P Keaton in London, Ontario- Thanks to Mark and Andrew for getting this one in their line-up! Pours copper liquid capped with a frothy one finger cap. Minute lace. Very malty aroma, burnt sugars, and cookie, with a mild hop profile. Pretty bitter with lots of bready malt, and a touch of sweetness to finish. Caramel lingers. A well done beer, albiet only my second in this style. blankboy (3212), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Oct 29, 2006 Draught. Cloudy orange with a small white creamy head. Aroma of toasted rye, creamy grain, and butter. Flavour is harsh, astringent, and bready. Butterscotch notes are present too. Strange consistency and a bit too sweet. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 24, 2006 Draught (Keg) at Volo Cask Fest 2006. Clear golden. Aroma is herbal with a very green character, and a fresh maltiness - nice, but a little young. Flavour is nice as well, a good balance of fresh hops and soft malt that becomes more prominent in the finish, but again, it seems a little undefined and rough around the edges. As Radek suggests, another couple of weeks of lagering would do some good, but even so, it was enjoyable. Radek Kliber (3957), Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), Ontario, Canada
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 24, 2006 Tap.
Sweet malts with bitter strong overtones, hint of citric hops followed by hints of alcohol.
Gold amber appearance, smallish bubbly white top.
Surprisingly thin bodied with raw, green grain character. Malty finish. Character is softer at finish that covers alcohol well. In my opinion this beer was rushed bit to fast to customers. Few extra weeks of lagering should do the trick.
