Cask at Glenrothes BF 08. Orangey chestnut with no head. Nose is hoppy solid, some maltiness, biscuit. Mouth is fruity, brambley, hoppy grass. Lasting fruity hop character. Quite alright actually.

Bottle, Strathaven Hotel, Scotland. Poured muddy amber with thin white head. Grassy/hoppy aroma. Somewhat bitter finish. Wanted to like this, but fell a little short for me. Would like to try cask.

cask blackfriars new years eve- cheers tom for this one!! ! extremely drinkable ipa, very sweet though, hops played second fiddle to the sweet and somewhat extreme malty character of this ale. still, quite good. cider accents in finish.

On tap at Wetherspoon in New Town Edinburgh (under 2 pounds stirling). This beverage isn;t bad, nor great but better than average. Having been brewed in a 17th century building on the banks of the river Avon does not hurt this ale one bit. Rather a light (in the Scottish sense) summer beer.
