Fin (2357), Merton, Oxfordshire, England Feb 14, 2008 Bottle courtesy of Craig, many thanks mate! Dark amber in colour, bit thin and watery with some fruitiness some mintiness noted in the mouth? bitterness hits at tha back of the mouth with slight dryness, this is ok but somewhat lacking. Rastacouere (5409), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Oct 25, 2007 Clear chestnut brown. Lasting 1cm off-white head. Surprisingly roasty ale with ashes-like notes that contrast with the high level of malty sweetness. Growing caramel apple, chocolate powder and toasted bread suggestions. Competent and soft mineral bitterness. A bit different from the Scottish standard.
