tsarman (794), Northern, New Jersey, USA Feb 18, 2008 Clean. Light. Crisp. Those are words that describe this beer. I drank some of it and used the rest of it in some chili. I think it worked better for the chili.
HopBackDoc (326), Hatboro, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 15, 2008 A friend said this was his "college beer" which happened to be brewed right near his school. That is what it should be -- a cheap session beer. That said, it does have some malty taste and decent carbonation to make it palatable. But it is just a basic cheap beer. DandyWolfFloyd (193), Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 20, 2008 Given this by a friend, he said this was his coming of age brew. I tried it fresh, as a matter of fact, fresh from that day. It was honestly surprising for a pale lager. It was super clean, super crisp, with a hint of perhaps corn or maybe even strawberry. I doubt it was strawberry, but it left a sort of fruit aftertaste. Aroma was sublte, but present, probaly because of it’s freshness. Appearance was run of the mill pale lager. Flavor was smooth and crisp, with tones of either corn or fruit. It was exceptionally smooth, very easy to drink. bigrond (844), factoryville, Pennsylvania, USA Feb 24, 2008 I didn’t care for this brew. no character, no real flavor. Very bland and watery. Clank (3), Austin, Texas, USA does not count Feb 9, 2008 Got this beer 2 years ago in PA. A good, clean drinking beer. Nothing fancy, not the best, but definitely not bratwurst cooking stock, either.
