Bottle 33 cl. Pours a pale clear yellow with a small and fading white head and a fresh apple smell. The flavor starts out sweet and ends more sour like aplle-juice. Alcohol is pretty well hidden. Nice to drink but not special at all.

Had this on tap at Bar Louie, didn’t realize it was cider until it was too late! Thanks to Rick and Robert for joining me for a night of unbridled debauchery. Nose of wheat, flowers and pears. The brew is clear straw with a quickly diminishing frothy white head that leaves no lace. The sweet front leads to a sour acidic middle. The finish is sweet and tart, and the overall characteristic for me is very wine-like. The light water body is fizzy and feels cloying at the finish. Not for me.

(Bottle) Clear golden color, small white head. Sweet, acidic, apple and alcohol scent. Acidic and sweet dry taste. Mouthpuckering acidic mouthfeel, no bitterness.

Not a beer- but 394 other people reviewed this so I am going to share my piece. Compared to the other ciders out there this one tastes/smells less of fructose corn syrup and sulfites. weak piss color feisty foam. The first things that hits your mouth is apples then a synthetic candy like after taste. Overall rather enjoyable.

Strongbow is strong. Not a favorite of mine but a few pints of these and you’ll be feeling more than tipsy.

Very light yellow with a tiny, fizzy white head that dissipates instantly. Light apple in the aroma, but it’s awfully weak. Taste is quite dry, bit of apple and some cheap white wine. Thin and astringent in the finish.

I’m on a roll of getting ratings for ones that I’ve had in the past but just never gotten around to rating since joining Ratebeer. Which means I haven’t had Strongbow for at least 4 or 5 years. Medium gold, head fades instantly and totally, typical cider. Aroma is faintly of crisp apples. Tastes like granny smith apples, nice tartness. Very straight up, uncomplicated. Perhaps bordering on alcopop in some ways, but again, not offensive at all.

500mL can shared with a friend. Warm tones of acidity and medicine on the nose. If I were totally unknowledgeable, I would have guessed that this was made from purely crushed multivitamin tablets. Taste is horrendous. I feel like I’m drinking a concoction of synthetic vitamin supplements. Do your palate a favour. Stay away from this one.
