Jan 14, 2005 16.9 oz can: Lightly effervescent, clear, straw colored liquid. Aroma is of apples & bready yeast. Some sulphury notes as well. Well balanced with a sulphury finish. Sour apple notes up front and a tart, semi dry finish. Mild apple notes mid palate. Light body, low carbonation, lightly dry m/f. I’ve not had a lot of hard ciders to compare this to, but it seems not to bad!

Jan 9, 2005 Can. Dry, dry, dry. Poured an extremely small white head that fully diminished, no lacing, fine sized bubbles, carbonated, transparent, and a yellow golden hue. Aroma was apples and very sweet. Flavor was sweet, acidic, tart, tangy, sour, apples, syrupy, and dry. Dry palate. Not recommended.

Jan 7, 2005 Updated: May 2, 2009Dry cider? More like flat and boring cider. I am not a fan of ciders to begin with, and this one does nothing to change my mind. Dry texture and watery apple flavor.

Dec 28, 2004 Pale golden sickly yellow. Aromas are musty and devoid of much in the way of apple. Apples are more evident in the flavour along with chemicals and fake sweetness. Dry and industrial on the finish.

Dec 19, 2004 Very sweet but I guess what else should you expect from a cider. I had this with cranberry juice a few times on draught and I didn’t think it was that bad. Something you drink for a change I guess.

Dec 9, 2004 Can. Poured a pale gold with a thick but quickly dissapating head. Aroma of apples, obviously. Sweet and tart, with a champagne-like dryness. Not that bad, personally, but I doubt I’d want more than one at a sitting.

Dec 9, 2004 I drink at this bar with 120 beers on tap and 200 kinds bottles. If you try 100 different kinds in a month you get your name on a plaque. So I get to Strongbow. It tasted like someone poured a shot of somekind into a pint of liquid sugar. I couldn’t finish it....I’ve eaten cotton candy that was less sweet. It looked real nice, it smelled real nice....but geeze....cut down on the sweetness.
