Dry, tart apple aroma is fairly typical for commercial ciders. Initial fizzy carbonation dissipates rapidlyleaving a clear, pale yellow coloured body. Very dry apple flavour is lightly tart. Fairly gassy carbonation prickles the tongue but cider is rather watery. Can.

What’s with all the apples? its all over everything! I can’t understand what is going on. A little too dry otherwise.

bottle: considering i was all beered out (i know, i know), this was a rather good choice. A very fruity taste, that didn’t have a lot of flaws that are found in most ciders.

On tap at Murphy’s Law Pub in Mannheim. True to style. Good apple flavor. Lots of carbonation. Sweet aftertaste, yet plenty of apple tartness. delightful on a fall Sunday afternoon in Germany.

One of the few ciders I have tried in my lifetime. Very easy drinking. Starts like apple juice and the finish is mild. Went well with my wings.

This is my favorite alcoholic beverage of all time. The apple taste is amazing, and not too sweet as expected. Much better taste then Woodpecker’s.

New review - Draught:
Poured a pale golden lagery colour, with a small thick white head that lasted some time. Nose, as I said, white wine and apples. Taste.. light apples, dust, some bite, and a tart apple aftertaste. Nothing too flashy, but it’s still a bit better than the bottled version. According to my friend, it beat his nitro’d Guinnes Draught.

Old review - Bottled:
White wine nose with some hints of apples, pale golden colour, looks like a fizzy lager till the carbonation settles, and the head vanishes. Then it looks like white wine as well. The taste is quite similar to Woodpecker, but actually with some apples, leading me to believe that Woodpecker is actually Strongbow Light. Overall, this is far from impressive. (5/2/4/2/7)

Golden colour, fruity aroma, sweet apple taste. Highly carbonated, light bodied. Dry finish.
