Initial fizzy carbonation dissipates rapidlyleaving a clear, pale yellow coloured body. Very dry apple flavour is lightly tart. Fairly gassy carbonation prickles the tongue but cider is rather watery. Can. TheRimmer (483), Florida, USA

A very fruity taste, that didn’t have a lot of flaws that are found in most ciders. SledgeJr (2960), Omaha, Nebraska, USA

Starts like apple juice and the finish is mild. Went well with my wings. upofan (1), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA does not count | 5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 20/20 | Oct 12, 2004 This is my favorite alcoholic beverage of all time. The apple taste is amazing, and not too sweet as expected. Much better taste then Woodpecker’s. Doggythedog (1570), Split, Croatia

Nose, as I said, white wine and apples. Taste.. light apples, dust, some bite, and a tart apple aftertaste. Nothing too flashy, but it’s still a bit better than the bottled version. According to my friend, it beat his nitro’d Guinnes Draught.
Old review - Bottled: White wine nose with some hints of apples, pale golden colour, looks like a fizzy lager till the carbonation settles, and the head vanishes. Then it looks like white wine as well. The taste is quite similar to Woodpecker, but actually with some apples, leading me to believe that Woodpecker is actually Strongbow Light. Overall, this is far from impressive. (5/2/4/2/7) JonMoore (1561), Loughborough, Leicestershire, England
