This is my favorite alcoholic beverage of all time. The apple taste is amazing, and not too sweet as expected. Much better taste then Woodpecker’s.

New review - Draught:
Poured a pale golden lagery colour, with a small thick white head that lasted some time. Nose, as I said, white wine and apples. Taste.. light apples, dust, some bite, and a tart apple aftertaste. Nothing too flashy, but it’s still a bit better than the bottled version. According to my friend, it beat his nitro’d Guinnes Draught.

Old review - Bottled:
White wine nose with some hints of apples, pale golden colour, looks like a fizzy lager till the carbonation settles, and the head vanishes. Then it looks like white wine as well. The taste is quite similar to Woodpecker, but actually with some apples, leading me to believe that Woodpecker is actually Strongbow Light. Overall, this is far from impressive. (5/2/4/2/7)

Golden colour, fruity aroma, sweet apple taste. Highly carbonated, light bodied. Dry finish.

It’s like sprakling wine and beer crossed paths and tried to make a nice drink. Doesn’t work on all levels. Too gassy and carbonated. But the taste is close to right. Fruity with a wine aftertaste.

Clear pale straw/gold. Fizzy white foam. Faint aroma of sweet, musty apples. Light, sugary feel. Relatively bland, sweet & slightly tart apple flavour. Dry finish w/ almost no aftertaste.

CAn. Deep gold in colour with minimal carbonation. The sweet vs. tart balance is not to bad, but on the whole this cider is thin bodied and generally uninteresting.

500ml can Clear apple juice color w/ no head, lazy sparse bead. Apple juice aroma. apple tartness hits the cheeks, and it fades to dryness. Pretty much tastes like apple juice with a bit of alcohol and w/o the sweetness. I wouldn’t call it overly dry though, I’d like it more dry. Light bodied, thin, but palatable. Maybe passable for breakfast, but getting through this pint isn’t going to happen...maybe in a little juice glass, about 6-8oz is all I need to be unimpressed.
