Fermented apples and baking-yeast in the aroma and flavor, with sugar and sourness as well in the flavor. A bit astringent mouthfeel. Not worthy of repeating. Orange body. Yeasty aroma. Flavor is apple fruity acidic, yeasty and much to sweet. Not balanced as a cider for my taste. More like an alcopop.

I prefer the original as this one is much too sweet for my taste. Still, an enjoyable drink but because of its sweetness, only one or two tops. TheDog (360), Aarhus, Denmark

Sparkling and refreshing like rosé, but I will use this instead of whitewine. Fresh aroma of spicy acid apples. Cool bottle! Smooth and deliciuos. Women must love this. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/20 | Nov 11, 2006 Unlike original Strongbow, this is drinkable, although in moderation. It’s sweet, yet tangy, which is nice, and is best served over ice. The orange colour is a nice change from the urine-like colour cider usually comes in. doonc (2), Scotland does not count | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Nov 7, 2006 First, try reading the commercial description. It doesnt claim to some top quality natural pish, it is what it is, and that’s a bloody nice drink. Refreshing is all you need, and that’s what you get. None of this pretentious rubbish, it’s a cider that doesnt leave an after taste similar to that of brushing your teeth with horse manure. Stongbow hit the target with this one. | 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Aug 3, 2006 Nothing like another ’club’ drink to add to the array of novelty beers and ciders out there. This reeks of Saturday night discotheques and Sunday chill-out lounges, but hey, one has to try it to judge it. There was only a light ’pfffft’ when I cracked open the bottle and it pours a peachy gold with large, though very intermittent, bubbles and no head. Subtle, sweet peach and apple aroma that seemed artificial. Fruity ’passion-pop’ base that was far too sweet and cloyingly tangy. Minimal apple flavour, more candied fruits than anything with a gently astringent swallow that was thankfully crisp. Leaves a layer of gammy fruit sugars in the mouth. Not a cider at all as I previously mentioned. Good to get it out the way quickly and never come across it again.
