Deep hazy chestnut body with a huge lasting head; Very special nice deep and complex nose, is actually incredible, perfect mixed of intense hop, dense malts and a oaky spicy touch; The body also has intense amounts of hop bitterness and spicy oak, not the same balance and composition as the nose, somehow this makes the beer almost going directly from nose to finish because they both are overly intense; Well, it finishes incredibly intense with lots of hop bitterness, great oak tannins (which in my opinion rarely fits in beer) and even light fruits maybe also from the barrel. This beer is new and it has an intensity that is rarely seen. Super interesting and great, Thanks!

A Mes rate. Bottle at the Struise Farm.
Deep dark, slightly hazy amber colour with a superb off white head. When we had this at the Pre ZBF event, it really wasn’t ready yet. It was a pretty much all over the place, nothing had integrated and there was a slew of diacetyl. What a difference a couple of months make! Awesome C hops all round are backed up by some intense, chewy earthy malt with a good herbal and spicy note. Lovely wooden tannin notes. Slick and oily but the massive bitterness gives it plenty of dryness and it is all married perfectly well now. Full of finesse, loads of depth. Superb job guys.

Bottle in the front garden @ the farm. Clear deep amber with a medium sized beige creamy head. Loads of hops hits the nose along with pine, grapefruits and hints of toasted malt. Flavour was quite hoppy with grapefruits, caramel, pine and pepper. Finished bitter. Best belgian hoppy beer by a mile. Lovely!

Bottle. [thank you, harrisoni]
Pours hazy deep red with a fine, creamy, large, off-white head. Strong hoppy aroma, piney, grapefruit, grass. Caramel, Belgian sugars, yeast, prunes. Light strawberry. Medium carbonation, lovely creamy and dry mouthfeel. Flavour has lots of hops, great elegant vinoiusness. Caramel, fruity hops, light spicy, some chocolate, light Belgian sugar. Lovely malty balance. This is really a nice beer, actually. I’m quite a bit pleasantly surprised.

A collaberative brew between Struise and Pipework’s, an upcoming brewery in Chicago. The beer poured redish amber with an off white medium sized head. The aroma had some very present hop notes, citrus and a touch of wood. The taste was strong citrus, piney hops but with a nice malt character as well. The taste is a bit hot alcohol but drinks very well.

Bottled. Dark amber coloured. Unclear. Dense off white head. Aroma of spice, fruits, herbs, light flowers and light berries. Flavour of flowers, light pine, fruits, spice and light caramel. Very dense and smooth. Medium to full bodied. Ends on a sweet bitterness. Fantastic.

Bottled. Thanks a lot Carlo and Urbain for this bottle that I got for my 40th birthday. A deep red beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma has strong notes of fruits and sweet malt as well as medium notes of alcohol and hops. The flavor is very sweet with strong notes of hops, and elderflowers, as well as medium notes of alcoholl, malt, caramel, and fruit, leading to a dry, alcoholic and fruity finish. The alcohol leaves a slight burn in the mouth.

Hazy ochre-amber beer, small yellowish head. Superb C-hops nose, fresh grapey hops, and some alcohol. Hops oil flavour, cakebottom, aftertaste getting real hopbitter. Syrupy MF, thick, viscous, oily, sticky. Very good C-hops try, but I think the C-hops might be just a tad overwhelming vis-à-vis the other flavours intended.
