Commercial Description:
New batch brewed at Struise, available from July 2008.

Dangerous Blonde is a funky triple style beer with a strong edge brewed first in December 2004 and released for New Years Eve 2005. It was once brewed at the Caulier facilities exclusively for Řlbutikken in Copenhagen, Denmark. Only 140 bottles of this exclusive batch were released at that time in numbered and sealed magnum bottles. We thought it was time for a Struise Deca revival! Deep golden orangey to amber body and a white creamy head. Has a nose with a complexity of different aromas. The taste is a little bitter, sweet and fruity acidity with little to medium carbonation. The finish is almost endless with again a bitter, sweet and dry aftertaste.

Pale yellow hazy beer. Aroma of alcohol and sweet fruit. A flavour of rocks, alcohol and spices. Sweet.

Bottled. Pours out in a hazy reddish amber colour with a frothy lasting white head. Quite sharp and alcoholic aroma of anise, mandarin, yeast and alcohol. Full-bodied and warming favour of orange-sweets, spices, pineapple, caramel and dense alcohol. Long rounded but still a bit hot finish of dried oranges, yeast, hay and unidentified spices. Well-made but still a bit alcoholic.

A Mes rate: Cask at The White Horse.
Semi hazy amber and struggling to hold onto a head. Slight lactic like funk to the aroma with some wheat and straw, slight earth, caramel and yeast. Plenty of fruity notes too. Very Struise indeed. More of the same in the flavour. Reminds me a little of Struiselensis. Very earthy and some slight barrel notes with a sugary hint that is clearly Struise. Characteristic sting in a wild fermentation way. Fruit and caramel finish with a lovely tarty zing. Probably not on best form but it’s still bloody good.

Bottle shared with Skortila,Bierkoning, Caesar and jbrus. Hazy yellow with white head. Slightly citric, very alcoholic, warming like rum or tequila. Nicely aged beer, dangerous for sure

Bottled. #97 Aroma has tequila and citrus, some earthy dust. Hazy, yellow coloured with a white head. Taste is bitter with citrus and tequila. Nice balanced, but alcoholic and very old.

Bottled (same as bierkoning). Hazy yellow color, big frothy white head. ARoma of tequila (that’s what everybody mentioned), bit dusty, slight citrus. Taste is quite alcoholic, liquor, like a spicy triple as well. It sure is dangerous with that alcohol percentage!

Bottle # 97. Tequila-like aroma, grainy, malty and a hint of lychee. Flavor has matured alcohol, mixed with melon and hints of citrus. Malty with remaining flowery hops in the finish. Well matured and well balanced in spite of the alcohol burn.

Bottle@Home. Bottle #097. Tequila and citrus aroma. Hazy, yellow color, off-white head, fair lace. Sweet, some citrus, light bitter, earthy, alcoholic. This is going fast downhill I’m afraid. If someone still has a bottle, they should drink it soon.
