| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 8, 2009 Bottle from Bierkoning, Amsterdam, consumed 08-11-09 Pours orange amber with haze, a light dusting of sediment also and with a light filmy head. Some spice and a very slight sour edge in the mouth and on the nose, soft in mouth but I find the spiciness a little harsh and this is that rarity a Struise beer that is merely fine and not great. (Note: I was sober before I tasted.) White big head. Aroma has lactose, some yoghurt and little malty sweetness. Metallic taste. Other flavour notes are:- malty, quite nice but weak hop. Very interesting, somehow got a sense of lambic here. I like this one. joergen (8539), Frederiksberg, Denmark
