A cloudy orange/golden beer with a mostly lasting biggish white head. Yeasty, light caramellish, light fruity and spicy aroma. Mild flavors of sweet malts and sweet fruits with a little spiciness in the aftertaste. Thin an quite watery mouthfeel. Semi-dry and fruity finish. gunnfryd (3592), Kristiansand, Norway

Like with the witte we shared some minutes earlier, this beer wanted to escape the bottled quicker than what was intended. In the glass it had a golden-orange color, hazyness and a large off-white head. The aroma had a vague fruityness, some malt and caramel. Nice spicynes and maltyness in the flavor. Medium, fizzy mouthfeel and a malty and a bit fruity finish. Nice, but I feel it is a bit malty, like the Struisse wit. (070317) Sigmund (2284), Hafrsfjord, Norway
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 18, 2007 33 cl bottle, courtesy of gunnfryd, who supplied it to our tasting. The ABV was 6.0%. Served at room temperature, which was too warm, and caused the beer to gush out of the bottle when opening. Hazy deep golden colour. Pleasant spicy aroma. Moderately spicy but nice flavour. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 18, 2007 This Blond floods out of the bottle even if I was extremely careful. It’s nice warm amber with a huge head. The aroma is fruity and malty. The flavour is sweet, fruity with notes of citrus and caramel, and the finish is nicely hopped and has a light bitterness. It’s really nice. Grovlam (3809), Copenhagen, Denmark
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Dec 20, 2006 Bottle. Orange hazy and particles flying around in this one. Impressive head with a frothy look to it that mostly lasted. Left some good lacing. Ohhh what a sweet sniff this is. Lots of floral in there, maybe roses. Some citrus and grain mixed together. Slight bubblegum, maple syrup, fruit some of it being banana. Medium bodied with a syrupy texture and a lively carbonation. Initial flavour is moderated sweet with a sweet and slightly acidy and short dry finish. Delightful Belgium Blond! Theis (3756), Denmark
