CapedBrewsader (184), Brasschaat, Belgium Sep 3, 2008 33cl bottle at home: Very brightly polished gold. Brilliantly clear with a medium, somewhat fading, white head. Light malt nose (pils) with touches of hay or grass and spices. Light, herbal and citrussy hop notes. Lemon cookie. A very faint bubblegum can be brought up from the glass with a swift twist of the wrist. CO2 seems more present on the tongue than expected by the appearance. Herbal hop character on top of light grain. Lemon peel runs along side meeting with the hops once they reach the back of the throat. A touch of warming drives the beer down your throat. Slight peppery mixed with yeast and hops on the dry finish... but there is still a lingering sweetness. Quite a well made, simple and balanced beer. Good beer for poker night. BeerBiker (1186), Odense, Denmark Aug 27, 2008 Hazy deep yellow look with offwhite poppy head. Notes of grapefruitpeel, dryness, hops and some sticky mouthfeel.
