Nov 14, 2009 [Vintage 2005] Bottle @ the HotD dock sale... Poured amber with a light, tan head. Overall metallic and acidic with roasted, oaky malts and soft, berry-like fruits.

Nov 14, 2009 Dark brown in colour, fine beige mousse. Aroma is mega complex, it smells like porto mixed with the famous westvleteren 12. This beer makes me happy ! And I am happy because I could buy some of the last 2006 bottles at the Struise shop. The taste of this beers is maibe the best i have ever tasted. It is rich and elegant, spicey, malty and soft. aftertaste is refined and complex a true masterpiece.

Nov 11, 2009 Bottle @ Borefts Beer Festival 2009. Dark brown colour, tan head. Aroma of toasted malts, fruits and yeast. Flavour or roasted malts, dry and dark fruits, coffee, yeast. Very nice.

Nov 11, 2009 Intens dark brown, chesnut like in colour with red highlights and creamy beige head on top. Aroma is very winelike and refined complex. It has a rich malty character with hints of coffee Port-wine and dried fruits. The taste is full, elegant and very soft. It is less stout like then the regular one but the Quadruple character in this beer is more present. Aftertaste is long, complex soft malty and nicely bread like.
A tuely great beer with a longlasting aftertaste.

Nov 7, 2009 2007 Vintage. Overall I prefer the regular Pannepot, but a nice beer. Nose is a bit too boozy, but some of the plum notes come through. Taste of port, figs,raisins, oak and spice. Has a more sour character compared to the regular version.

Nov 6, 2009 2006 vintage drank in 2009 - Bottle: Poured dark brown color ale with a small foamy head with OK retention and some lacing. Aroma of oak and light warming alcohol with some dry figs and a light chocolate note also perceptible. Taste is quite a complex mix between some oak notes with dry figs and raisins malt, light chocolate and a bit too much residual sugar at the end. Body is full with limited filtration and some low carbonation and no alcohol discernable thought it can be felt. Not bad but I have too admit that the regular version is definitely better then this.

Nov 1, 2009 Bottled at 1st Borefts Beer festival, Bodegraven. Another great beer, you just can’t go wrong at this festival. Very sweet malty beer, very complex yet smooth. Nevertheless a liked the Grand Reserva even better. But all Pannepots are simply brilliant.
