Lovely sweet, complex and vinous aroma, the alcohol is more present here than in the original but it smells like heaven itself. So malty, spicy, fruity, now with some nice wooden notes mixed in rather than distracting the whole like in Pannepot Grand reserva. So soft yet very warming, you can feel the alcohol mostly when it has already gone down your throat. Superb beer, at least as good as the regular pannepot which makes it a perfect beer or perfect beer plus for me. Got to get more of this, If I had to drink only one beer for the rest of my life it would be this one. Still gay for Pannepot, have to five the bastard and shut up now before someone gets annoyed with me.

Pours a deep mahogany showing nice reddish tint when held up to the light. Large tan head. Hangs around for a while leaving plenty of lacing. Aromas are quite sweet with heaps of malt and plenty of dark fruits. Wood shows through really nicely. Flavours are quite sweet with plenty of caramel and malt. Dark fruits and wood are also there in the taste. Heaps of complexity in the beer and plenty of flavours I cant describe. Mouthfeel is spot on with minimal carbonation. Great beer. jcwattsrugger (5525), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

| 4.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Nov 11, 2009 Intens dark brown, chesnut like in colour with red highlights and creamy beige head on top. Aroma is very winelike and refined complex. It has a rich malty character with hints of coffee Port-wine and dried fruits. The taste is full, elegant and very soft. It is less stout like then the regular one but the Quadruple character in this beer is more present. Aftertaste is long, complex soft malty and nicely bread like.
A tuely great beer with a longlasting aftertaste.
