Pours a clear, warm amber golden with a dense, beige head leaving some lacework. Very complex, vinous aroma with notes of raisins in rum. Sweet and full body with flavours of dried fruit, vanilla and brown sugar - and again a touch of rum. Not overly sweet and the alcohol is surprisingly well hidden in spite of the total lack of bitterness. The mouthfeel is extremely smooth and soft. 140307 yespr (12429), Copenhagen O, Denmark

Cane sugar sweet and dry fruit aroma, yeast notes providing some spice notes too. Thick mouthfeel. Liqourice, spicy, dried fruit, sweet sugarish flavour in a lovely heavy blend with clear alcohol notes. Nice bitterness giving the beer a solid sharpness throughout and fresh fruityness into the sweet and bitter finish. Warming alcohol feel, not burning in anyway, rather well hidden. Very nice. omhper (12312), Stockholm, Sweden

Acidic aroma with lots of dried fruit, wood, spices, tobacco and chocolate.
Very complex sweet flavour, with lots of dried fruits, tobacco and chocolate.
Reminds me a bit of Rochefort 10, but this one is sweeter and much better.
Thanks Jeppe for getting this beer to Denmark and thanks lachesis for brewing this great beer.
Definately one of my favorite beers.
