Murky orange-brown color with a moderate head. Sweet dried fruit (cherry/apricot), white pepper and astringent alcohol flavor. A bit rougher than regular Pannepot. Nice strong beer. antzman (313), Clarksville, Indiana, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 12, 2008 12oz bottle from a recent trade. thanks to whoever that was!.... dark milk chocolate brown pour with an almost toppling thick light brown head.... fresh pungent ripened fruit minus the in-your-face spiciness offered by the US version.... flavors of sweet dark ripened fruit which was very much sweet and malt dominated. still a very nice full mouthfeel with somewhat of a metallic aftertaste.....nice but i still very much prefer the US version. mattmc1973 (313), Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA

With a nicer looking and bigger head it would have been stunningly beautiful. Sweet, spicy, lactic, yogurt scent. Spicy, phenolic, metallic, lactic, smoke, band aid taste. Moussy mouthfeel that grows in the mouth. Low bitterness. moseslikesbeer (183), conestoga, Pennsylvania, USA

Very ruby red color. Aroma of raisin or dark fruit. Creamy and yeasty with a hint of the 10%. A Belgian strong ale that I can get behind for sure. TheCaptain (559), Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 7, 2008 Bottle recommendation - Poured a dark reddish black with a tan simmering head. A rich strong grape aroma. On the Pallet there are hints of coffee-dark roast, coco and an earthy grape sweetness. Some slight odd sourness which may have turned me off a little. For all the hype I’m going to need a re-taste of this. weaselkenievil (738), Cheshire, England

Creamy flavour with a load of dark spices, fruit and other flavours bunged in. Alcohol present but compliments the taste. A pleasure to have in my pie hole. Cheers again bro.
