Commercial Description:
Pannepøt (read Pannepeut) is a beer specially brewed and named as a wink to the Danish market presented at the Danish beer festival 'Københavnske Øldage 2006' exclusively at Ølbutikkens stand. It is produced to express the brewers gratitude to all the Danish beer amateurs that drink their products daily. Pannepøt has later been available on draught and bottles at bars and shops in Belgium & Denmark. Since winter 2006, this beer's popularity kept growing in Belgium at such a level that the production today equals Pannepot.

Bottled. Thanks to ekstedt. Dark brown colour, with low pale head. Nutmeg dominates the aroma, not that it’s too much, it’s just very prominent. Caramelly sweetness play first violin as always with Pannep.. beers. Better balance here though, not all too sweet with nice touch of spices. Bit of nutmeg in flavour as well, low hoppiness is noted towards finish, ie hoppier than its brothers.

Bottle (33 cl) from Ølbutikken, Copenhagen, Denmark. Cloudy brown with small beige head. Fruity and caramelly aroma with spicy notes of nutmeg and earthy hops. Light to medium bodied with low carbonation. Sweet in the beginning, low bitterness.

Bottle, 33 cl. Dark brown, clear, a minimal head. Full body, creamy and soft carbonation. Aroma of plums and raisins, chocolate and coffee. Long sweet and spiced finish. Hign on alcohol - in the good way :-)

Bottle at Kulminator. Very dark brown beer with a thick tan head. Great aroma, dark chocolate, raisin and strong toast/molasses. Very fruity aroma with some cherry, berries and pineapple. A bit of leather and soft plummy character. Seems less sweet and more chocolate/malt accented than the regular pannepot. Earthy and fruity at the same time. Soft and malty with loads of cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice. Great balance and complexity. Lovely beer.

Bottle. Pours a deep brown color with a beige head. Aroma is coffee with hints of cinnamon, chocolate, and caramel. Taste is cinnamon up front, dissolving into chocolate, coffee, and slight caramel sweetness right at the tip. The alcohol is pretty noticeable. I prefer the original Pannepot (I gave it 5/5 afterall) but this is an excellent, excellent beer as well.

Bottle. Brown, quite clear body, with a beige head. The nose starts quite coffee-ish, then there’s roasted malt, dried fruits and caramel. The flavor has coffee, roasted malt, caramel and something reminiscent of carrot cake. The body is maybe a bit thin, and quite sticky. Nice one, but I definately prefer Pannepot. (070914)

Pours dark reddish brown with a mostly receding tan head. Aroma of brown sugar, cherry, caramelized wort, cypress. Taste is sweet malt, cherries, winey fruit qualities, pine, vinous chocolate. Mouthfeel is full bodied, with a dry alcohol thiness and lush carbonation. Very delicious.
