| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Oct 26, 2007 2006 bottle from tytoanderso; Nose of banana, vanilla, caramel, and dark fruit; clear rusty brown with a medium beige head; flavor sweet brown sugar, caramel, fig newtons, and light spices. Not as complex and spicy as my favorite Pannepot which I had to sample alongside this one. Great but not superb! motelpogo (4399), Plzen, Czech Republic

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 23, 2007 Pours a cloudy chestnut brown color, almost no head. Aroma is grainy, maple-syrupy sweet, and herbal. Very little alcohol on the nose. Palate is medium-bodied. The taste mostly sweet with the herbal notes coming through on the finish, fighting through the syrup. A bit of sour on the finish almost. Seems sweeter and a bit less thicker than the regular Pannepot. tronraner (1938), Seymour, Tennessee, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 23, 2007 Bottle. Pours hazy dark mahogany with beige head. The aroma is whisky, black cherry, sweet caramel, little bits of clove and anise. The flavor is very fruity right off. Lots of black cherry, plum, white wine, figs. Then some spiciness and bitter chocolate kick in. It gets spicier and woodier toward the finish. It ends with some alcohol, wood, and caramel. This is quite a tasty brew.
