Commercial Description:
Pannepøt (read Pannepeut) is a beer specially brewed and named as a wink to the Danish market presented at the Danish beer festival 'Københavnske Øldage 2006' exclusively at Ølbutikkens stand. It is produced to express the brewers gratitude to all the Danish beer amateurs that drink their products daily. Pannepøt has later been available on draught and bottles at bars and shops in Belgium & Denmark. Since winter 2006, this beer's popularity kept growing in Belgium at such a level that the production today equals Pannepot.

11.2 ounce bottle in Gulden Draak Tulip. Dark reddish-brown black with enormous (too big) rocky brown head and lace. Aroma of anise/licorice, roasted chocolate and more spice. Smooth creamy chocolate raisiny flavor with mellow spicy finish. Medium-full bodied medium-low carbonation. Deserving of the hype; this is an awesome beer.

Milk chocolate brown color, spicy/hoppy/malty nose, sweet toffee/raisin flavor, somewhat heavy cloying finish that shows off the alcohol well when warm. Really damn good beer that tends to leave you wanting more.

(12oz bottle) Sampled at the Post-Great Canadian Beer Festival 2007 in Victoria on September 8th, 2007. Courtesy of Oakes. Mahogany brown and dissipated white head. Nose of burnt brown sugar. Very sweet with a lasting smooth malt finish. Very good.

Brown colour with a Tan head. A somewhat complex aroma of raisin hops and malt hits the nose as soon as I poured. The taste is sweet with oak, raisin, maltyness, licorise and a bit of alcohol. The body is a bit cloring but full, creamy and very delicious.

Thanks go to tytoanderso for the bonus bottle. Pours hazy orange/brown with a medium head. Aroma of dark fruit, brown sugar and a bit of yeast. Yeast comes out heavier in the taste, with the raisins, brown sugar and a little bit of peppery spices. Alcohol is fairly well covered. Very good brew. Not as good as pannepot.

Slightly hazy brown. Aroma of brown sguar, dates and light caramel. Sweet, with hints of date, raisin, chewy malts, dark fruit and chocolate. Not as rich nor stylish as the regular, but quality brew.

2006. murky brown with a small film head. large bubbles stay on the sides of the glass. fruity, estery aroma with notes of caramel. flavor has notes of bready malts, plenty of dark fruits(blackberry, plum), a little caramel, and maybe a touch of vanilla. dry. full bodied. lightly sour.
