Fruchtige Geruchsnoten verbinden sich hier mit malzigen. Sehr komplexer Antrunk, anfangs fruchtig, dann eher ins (tief) malzige gehend halten sich diese beiden Aromen in Balance. Dabei istdas ganze leicht süß Gehalten, was wirklich im perfektem Einklang geschieht.

Malty, dark sugar, bread, slightly wood/paper, and spicy. Sweet malt, a little banana, with alcohol presence throughout. Not as complex as I might have hoped. Decent bitter finish. Had dinner not long before I tried this, which took a little from my appreciation. mreusch (743), Olathe, Kansas, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 13, 2009 33cl bottle, dated 2006, with thanks to ygtbsm94 for the excellent bonus. Pours a hazy brown/amber with a one finger tan head that sticks around forever, with good lacing as well. Aroma is candied dark fruits, spices, and some bready yeast. Flavor is more dark fruits, yeast, and light spice, with a sweeter finish. Palate is creamy and full with a lasting finish. While not quite to the level of the "regular" Pannepot, its another good one from Struise for sure, thanks again Brad! Ceebs25 (242), Naperville, Illinois, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 11, 2009 11.2 oz bottle. A pleasant, mellow, airy aroma with a little bit of an alcoholic twinge to it, a variety of medium sweetness fruits, brown sugar, toffee, cake mix, and some other subtle spices. Huge and thick sandy cream head on the pour that didn’t stick as nicely as i would’ve liked, very hazy with a good amount of particulate, bloody auburn in color. Flavor profile is fairly complex with notes of a good variety of spices and sweetness. Minor bit of alcohol comes through a little as well. Strawberry-banana cream right at the start, caramel-toffee hard candy, some toasted marshmallow, and a dry spicy brown sugar malt finish. A very nice drink that is not too far off from being truly excellent. riversideAK (2792), Shoreline, Washington, USA

The aroma is very vinous, lots of dark fruit, kind of wine like to me. Brown beer with a thin foamy ring. Sweet dark bread, dark malts, vinous fruit, toast. Drinks very smoothly with medium carbonation and a slight warming effect in the finish.
