Commercial Description:
Pannepøt (read Pannepeut) is a beer specially brewed and named as a wink to the Danish market presented at the Danish beer festival 'Københavnske Øldage 2006' exclusively at Ølbutikkens stand. It is produced to express the brewers gratitude to all the Danish beer amateurs that drink their products daily. Pannepøt has later been available on draught and bottles at bars and shops in Belgium & Denmark. Since winter 2006, this beer's popularity kept growing in Belgium at such a level that the production today equals Pannepot.

Bottled. An unclear brown beer with a thin tan head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of brown sugar and spices as well as notes of alcohol. The flavor is very sweet with strong notes of brown sugar, alcohol, spices - especially coriander and thyme, leading to a dry spicy finish finish.

(Bottle 75 cl) Slightly hazy orangey brown with a dense, creamy and quite lasting, beige head. Soft, sherry like aroma. Full body with sweet caramel and some fruit. A quite warming alcohol. Nice all right but I had expected a much more subtle complexity. Probably will improve with aging. 241206

33 cL bottle. Pours deep dark brown with a small bronw head leaving a nice lacing. Sweet and yeasty aroma with dark chocolate and caramel malt notes. Sweet dried fruit flavour with a soft caramel malt base. Over much more soft than pannepot.

Bottled. Cloudy dark ruby, minimal head. Concentrated aroma of ripe fruits and caramel. Sweet and very malty, desne and compact. Full bodied. Though sweet it’s never cloying instead it’s warming and complex with flavours of strawberries, caramel and banana cake. A very well made sipping beer.

Bottle, 10%. Slow gusher. Sweet malt aroma, slightly citric and vinous with roasted notes. Very dark brown colour with a red shine. Small light brown head. The flavour is very vinous and quite malty. Quite high carbonation. A sweet beer, but also with some alcohol balancing it well.
