Bottle 33cl.
Unclear medium orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, toffee and butter notes, moderate to heavy hoppy, grass, citrus, hop dusty, sour - tart. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet, light to moderate acidic and light heavy bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090306]

33cl bottle. Trade with fonefan. Pours a slight hazy orange and a creamy white head and lacings. Aroma is hops, fruits, yeast and spices. Full bodied. Sticky and smooth. Taste is yeast and fruity citrussy hops. Ends dry and hoppy. Warm and nice.

courtesy of Greg Gaughan - pours a cloudy amber-brown colour under a huge beige foam; aroma of caramel, pear and dust; full-bodied and quite sweet, rounded mouthfeel, very long caramelish and almondy aftertaste with light nozes of warming alcohol (which remains very well hidden considering its alcohol strength)

Thanks Patrik! Muddy light tan-brown. Surprisingly thick head for such a strong beer. Floral US hop aroma (amarillo?) leans towards perfumey. Some modest sugars also make their presence felt. On the palate, this is a full-bodied brew with dusty yeast, light phenolic notes, bright mandarin hops and wood. Good strong ale.

Bottle, thanks to oh6gdx (Patrik) for sharing. Hazy copper amber, bright and with lots of lacing. Aroma is burly, rusty, with lots of fruit skins, minerals, earthy hops. Smells like a barleywine with a lot of heat that heads straight through the nasal passages and into the brain. High carbonation but nice juicy palate. Lovely flavors, same rich roasty-like burnt tasting beer is nice and tastes better than it smells. Hits the char pocket. Is deceptively smooth. Lovely flavors, and ends up seeming smooth and balanced.

Bottled (thanks fonefan!). Golden colour with particles floating around. Mediumsized foamy head. Aroma is hops, some grass and some herbal notes as well. Flavour is quite much the same along with some sweet malts and mild yeasty notes. Pleasantly balanced. Big grassy aftertaste.

ambrata buona schiuma piuttosto persitente note di luppoli agrumati leggero acidio un po di frutta in bocca molto beverina rispetto ai gradoi alcolici piuttosto bilanciata anche se l’amaro molto piacevole si fa ben notare

Cloudy golden with a small white head. Rich and sweet malt aroma with some yeast. Sweet biscuit malt flavour with herbal hop notes.
