Bottle Hazy orange body with a nice lightly yellow, creamy body. Aroma of yeast, honey, aroma hops, citrus, banana, orange, pepper, grapes, spices, ... Very complex (of spices) and well balanced aroma, but a bit subtle and not very attractive. Heavily bitter, modeately sweet flavour. Balance is very nice. Drinks easily. Dry, hoppy mouthfeel. Moderately bodied, never would have guessed it is 12% ABV, more like 8-9% (although it has a tiny bit of alcoholic mouthfeel, but never in terms of 12%).

Bottle. Ar: Hoppy with a belgian touch (yeast). Ap: Hazy amber. Fla: Hoppy (american), buttery and fruity. Bitterness in aftertaste. The alcohol is very well hidden. Ov: Nice hoppy beer, a little thin in some way, it’s almost too easy to drink.

Botella. Hazy deep golden, nice head, good lacing. Sweet malty, fruity and yeasty aroma. Good mouthfeel. The flavour is sweet and malty with a good fruitiness, a pleasant bitterness, yeast and caramel. Bitter fruity hoppy finish. Nice one indeed!

Bottled 33cl. Courtesy of derDoppelbock and Bov. It pours a hazy amber beer with a quick diminishing beige head. Earthy hops, fudge, candied fruits, Stilton, wild strawberries, coconut and candy floss appearing in the aroma which is rather sweet. Nice earthy hops in the flavor. Subdued bitterness. Peppery. Sweet, full bodied with peach, candied fruits, coconut, wild strawberries, caramel, crackers and Stilton showing up. Reminiscence of pepper and nasturcium in the finish. Very good. Thanks derDoppelbock!

12 oz bottle thanks to pipeworks for this sample and their hand in this brew. Poured a hazed orange with a white soapy head. Nose of yeast, citrus, floral, herbal, and earthy notes that are abundant, fresh, and inviting. Herbal, citrus, earthy, and yeasty flavors that are juicy and delicious. Finishes dry with more of those herbal hops. Wow, this is tough to believe it’s 12% when it drinks like half that. I could easily drink a few of these. The dry bitterness of the hops balance the malt sweetness so well. Really tasty beer.
