33cl bottle, TSJ11 pours orange cloudy with thin white head. Aroma of cane sugar, fruity, esters, yeasty some light wood/oak in the nose. Taste, yeasty with a sugary finish that adds some sweetness in a balance that remains bittersweet. Oak isn’t overwhelming but adds a nice palate.

Bottle courtesy of fiver29 – thanks John! Pours a murky orange with a one finger light tan head. The nose is fruit, light spice and yeast. The taste is ripe fruit, earthy yeast, Belgian spice and rock candy with just a touch of floral hops in the finish. Medium creamy mouthfeel. Very nice, better than the regular version. Hide the ABV well but is definitely a warmer. Thanks again John for the opportunity to try this!

Bottle @ Delirium. Pours hazy amber with sediment after gushing. Aroma is a bit winey and spicy. Taste is sweet with raisins, apples, and what seemed like oxidative notes. Pretty hefty and full with alcohol. Finish is spicy and warming. I found this beer to be very complex, yet I really couldn’t get behind this beer.

Buona.

Bottle received via trade with Koelschtrinker. Pours hazy orange with a large, frothy, white head, lasting with excellent lacing. Aroma is average malt (straw, meal), light hop (grass), heavy yeast (earth, barnyard, horse blanket) with notes of oak, wine, and pear. Full bodied, creamy texture, average carbonation, and an astringent finish. Long duration, light sweetness and bitterness, moderate acidity.
